Water Tank Project
Our first project in Mbalmayo, Cameroon was a water tank—the countrys first structure built entirely from water bottles, beautifully painted by a local artist.
The collection of the water bottles has started. Many volunteers are supporting the project and helping out in different phases of the project.
We collected tons of plastic bottles that will be used to build the structures in the town of Mbalmayo. The watertank will be our first Bottles2Bricks project.
The bottles are filled with sand and compacted to transform them into sturdy bricks.
The bottles are ready to go.
It’s a community project and effort as it is the first project of its kind in Cameroon. The foundation has been laid and the watertank is taking shape.
The watertank has reached it’s maximum hight.
